From conversations at recent shows to one-on-one client calls, here’s our TLDR based on what we’re hearing across the industry:
The overall sentiment? Despite market noise, brands that are thinking long-term and partnering strategically are seeing results.
In today’s market, aged whiskey is more than a product—it’s a strategic asset. As supply tightens and demand for premium whiskey holds steady, Brindiamo continues to offer one of the most diverse and globally sourced aged whiskey inventories in the industry.
This includes high-character barrels cultivated with purpose and precision—ready to elevate bottling projects across the board. The inventory supports everything from premium brand extensions to margin-smart core SKUs. While Brindiamo is known for being able to source any type of whiskey, here are a few that we are most excited about!
Available stocks include:
Wheat-Forward Bourbon (4–6 Years Aged)
Featuring rich cream, vanilla, and fruit sweetness with a smooth, layered finish. Ideal for brand building, limited releases, and premium line extensions.
Mashbills: 51% Corn / 45% Wheat / 4% Malted Barley and 64% Corn / 24% Wheat / 12% Malted Barley.
Tennessee Whiskey (20 Years Aged, Limited Supply)
Rare, ultra-aged whiskey with smooth complexity and historic character—ideal for premium brand extensions and private label offerings.
Mashbill: 84% Corn / 8% Rye / 8% Malted Barley.
Rye-Forward Options (2–8 Years Aged)
A bold lineup for blending or standalone use, with spice-forward profiles and dry finishes.
Mashbills: High Rye Bourbon (60% Corn / 36% Rye / 4% Malted Barley) and Rye Whiskey (95% Rye / 5% Malted Barley).
Scotch & Irish Whiskey (15–18+ Years Aged)
Sourced from top-tier distilleries in Scotland and Ireland, offering premium quality for exclusive releases and high-end product lines.
One client purchased 60 barrels and returned shortly after for 50 more, driven by the strong performance of the initial lot. Independent bottler David Ferguson has also continued to build momentum by leveraging both Brindiamo’s inventory and its industry network.
In a market where shelf pricing has held firm, aged inventory like this presents a rare opportunity for brands seeking ready-to-bottle liquid without sacrificing margins.
Over the past several months, Brindiamo team members attended key industry events across the globe—from Düsseldorf to Louisville.
At ProWein 2025, global enthusiasm for American whiskey remained strong. Buyers from Europe and India continue to pursue U.S.-made spirits as key parts of their portfolio strategies. While tariff conversations continue, interest in brand development and sourcing remains steady.
The Jim Beam Institute Industry Conference saw its largest attendance yet—highlighting the strength and cohesion of the whiskey industry. This event is quickly establishing itself as a cornerstone gathering for producers, suppliers, and partners.
Elsewhere, Midwest Barrel Company, Bardstown Bourbon Company, Independent Stave Company and other close Brindiamo partners earned national exposure with a feature on 60 Minutes—a welcome narrative that highlights growth and success within the whiskey ecosystem.
Each of these touchpoints reflects a larger trend: innovation and strategy continue to thrive across the industry, even in a shifting global landscape. From tariffs to supply chain recalibrations, the whiskey sector is adapting with agility.
Whiskey is deeply tied to tradition, culture, and place. As Brindiamo expands its global footprint, a new symbol has emerged to reflect that journey: the Brindiamo tartan.
With the idea sparked by Scotland-based partner David Ferguson in collaboration with designer Alan Moore, the tartan has now been formally registered with the Scottish Tartan Authority.
Design elements include:
White oak and charred black for American whiskey barrels
Amber gold to evoke the spirit itself
Emerald saffron to represent Irish roots
Horizontal lines to symbolize warehouse ricks and aging structures
The tartan made its debut at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards in Edinburgh and will feature in future apparel and storytelling. It stands as a meaningful emblem of Brindiamo’s evolving role in whiskey’s global narrative andnd was a refreshing project for our team!
April also brought well-earned recognition for several Brindiamo collaborators at the World Whiskies Awards.
Among the honorees was Bardstown Bourbon Company, which, along with others, received top marks for quality, innovation, and impact. These wins underscore the craftsmanship and consistency across Brindiamo’s partner network.
As global attention continues to turn toward American and craft whiskey, the work being done by these producers highlights what’s possible through dedication, creativity, and alignment.
Brindiamo remains highly active across the whiskey ecosystem—whether it’s sourcing barrels for urgent projects, attending international conferences, or supporting partner brand launches.
The team continues to:
Maintain a presence at key domestic and global events
Fulfill requests for specialty barrels and project-specific needs
Provide operational and strategic insights to brands of all sizes
This on-the-ground engagement reflects Brindiamo’s broader mission to support industry growth with experience, flexibility, and execution.
