Brindiamo was proud to sponsor one of the industry’s most anticipated nights of the year: the World Whiskies Awards 2025 and Icons of Whisky 2025, held at the iconic Waldorf Hotel in London. This annual celebration brought together the finest whiskies and the most innovative minds shaping the future of the industry.

From a stunning three-course dinner in the historic Adelphi Suite to lively conversations between master blenders, distillers, and bottlers from across the globe, the evening was a true testament to the craftsmanship and community driving the whisky world forward.

As a sponsor, Brindiamo was honored to be part of a night that showcased not only the finest liquid in the world—but the people, processes, and passion behind it.

Celebrating Industry Trailblazers

This year’s Icons of Whisky winners represented excellence across every facet of the industry. Some standout honors included:

Additionally, two outstanding individuals—Anssi Pyysing of Teerenpeli Brewery & Distillery and renowned whisky writer Dave Broom—were inducted into the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame, celebrating a lifetime of dedication to the craft.

The World’s Best, Crowned

In the World Whiskies Awards segment, global winners spanned the spectrum of style and origin:

From Canada to Japan, and Ireland to India, the diversity and quality on display proved once again that whisky truly is a global spirit.

A Night to Remember

Alongside the awards presentations, guests enjoyed a vibrant drinks reception, live entertainment, and heartfelt speeches from category winners and industry legends. Awards director Anita Ujszaszi captured the spirit of the evening:

“We’ve tasted some truly exceptional products and it’s been wonderful to hear from passionate whisky producers and industry professionals from all over the world. Congratulations to all our winners—we can’t wait to see you next year!”

As Brindiamo continues to support innovation, growth, and excellence within the whisky sector, events like this underscore why we do what we do. Cheers to the visionaries, the creators, and the dreamers shaping the future of whisky—one cask at a time.
