Inside IBWSS 2025: A Strong Showing for Barrels, Bourbon, and Big Connections

We just got back from the International Bulk Wine & Spirits Show (IBWSS) 2025, and let’s just say — it did not disappoint.

While some industry folks commented that the show felt slightly smaller than previous years, the quality of conversations and connections this year made a big impact. Whether it was curious buyers, passionate distillers, or new brands trying to find the perfect barrel to bring their vision to life — we were proud to be in the mix.

Barrels in High Demand

One of the big themes at this year’s event? Barrels. Lots of them. From new and growing brands like Hilton Head Distillery and The Wood Family to bulk buyers asking about tanker options, we had a steady stream of people interested in what we brought to the table. Many were looking for small lots — 1 to 5 barrels at a time — but were incredibly enthusiastic about the quality of our offerings.

We were also approached by buyers with specialty needs, including one looking specifically for kosher whiskey — a growing niche in the spirits world.

Crowd Favorites: KAD 95/5 and Wild Turkey

Of all the samples we poured, the KAD 95/5 stood out as a crowd favorite. It was the most requested sample at our booth, and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive.

There was also major buzz around our Wild Turkey stock. It’s not every day that people get to sample something so iconic — and multiple attendees were asking if we had anything aged over 12 years, which speaks to the continued appetite for well-matured, high-end whiskey.

Bonus points to the team for showing up with real glassware — our shot glass tastings got lots of compliments for going the extra mile.

Why It Mattered

IBWSS continues to be a great place to meet people who care deeply about quality, craftsmanship, and innovation in the beverage alcohol space. This year’s show reaffirmed that there's real demand for thoughtful sourcing, and we’re proud to be part of helping brands discover their next great product.

We walked away with new leads, strong feedback, and a lot of excitement for what’s ahead.
